La diamantatura della mola a vite può essere eseguita in vari modi. Il caso illustrato si riferisce all'uso di un rullo diamantato biconico che esegue solamente la ravvivatura dei fianchi rettilinei della mola. In una fase successiva bisognerà ridurre anche il diametro esterno della mola. Questo metodo, che è economico, non ha flessibilità per quanto riguarda la modifica del profilo.

There are different systems to dress a worm wheel. In the case shown in the picture it's used a bi-conical diamond roll which can dress only the rectilinear flanks of the wheel.
After this operation must be reduced the outside diameter of the wheel. This method have a low cost, but don't allow to modify the profile of the wheel.
